Summer Food Sack Distribution

Food 2 Kids Big Spring found a way to distribute food sacks to children during the summer. We worked with three local low-income apartment complexes, Howard County Resources Center, and a local church to distribute food sacks to children during the summer. Through these efforts, a total of 1,400 food sacks were distributed throughout June, July, and August. We will continue our mission of serving children who may live with food insecurity at home and finding ways to serve them while away from school.
